School Level Implementation of MTSS (Macomb)

In this series of professional learning, participants will establish an understanding of the core components of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) at the school level. Participants will identify strengths and needs of the building related to the MTSS Framework and identify next steps for continuous improvement. Content for this training will focus on an introduction to the critical elements of MTSS at the school level. Participants will make connections between the district's systems framework for continuous improvement, student outcomes, and the implementation of MTSS at the school level. The six domains for school level implementation of MTSS will be defined and explored including:Leadership Data-Based Problem Solving Infrastructure for Implementation Three-Tiered Instructional/Intervention Model Communication and Collaboration Data and Evaluation High impact strategies and common challenges will be identified and discussed. Finally, participants will have an opportunity to evaluate their building level system and identify resources and next steps.
There will be 6 hour PD credits offered for this course.
