Level 1 Certification Cohort

The purpose of the Level 1 Certification Cohort is to assist brand new or novice users of G Suite for Education in becoming a Level 1 Google Certified Educator. This Cohort will walk you through the Google Training Center Modules, provide practice activities, and provide support when questions arise. The Cohort will be facilitated using Google Classroom. During the process, there will be voluntary scheduled Google Hangouts to ask questions and discuss what has been learned. At the completion of the Training Modules, participants will take the Google Certified Educator: Level 1 Exam together, in-person. While the modules, practice activities, and support before and during the exam will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the exam, it is not guaranteed. Refunds will not be given to individuals who do not complete the Cohort or do not pass the exam.

The Cohort is an 11-week program beginning May 17, 2017 and ending July 31. There will be a date (scheduled during the Cohort) to take the test together at a physical location during the first week of August. While the primary goal is to become Level 1 Google Certified Educators, 26 PD Clock Hours will also be awarded to those who fully participate.
