Educator Leadership Cadre - NGSS Phase 3 - Developing Units of Study Aligned to NGSS

Experience a step-by-step process which will demonstrate unit plan development. Storylining (cohesive unit planning) will be built upon the process of unpacking and bundling the performance expectations and utilizing phenomena to deeply engage students in the core ideas. The NGSS Evidence Statements will help to determine what students should be able to do in order to achieve the performance expectation(s). Teachers will also gain experience in developing an aligned assessment for the unit. A basic understanding of NGSS is recommended.
