This three-part seminar will address risk management in schools. The sessions include:

Cyber Risk for Schools – What would your district do in the event of a Cyber-attack or data breech? Does your district have a response plan in place? We will explore the value of having safeguards and best practices in place for your district to best protect student, employee, vendor and community data. We will also introduce the value of Cyber Insurance and the steps you can take to make sure your district not only has coverage but has the right coverage.

Student Transportation Risks - Did you know that Student Transportation is probably the single biggest risk for your district? We will discuss case studies of past accidents/claims and how your district can avoid these perils. Whether your district has in-house bussing or contracts with a third party we will discuss ways to help you mitigate and manage the risks with student transportation. We will also address best practices for Field Trips.

Bullying & Cyberbullying – Bullying has always been present in education but in recent years we have seen a large uptick in bullying cases leading to litigation for school districts. How can your district help create a culture to combat bullying and also establish safeguards to deal with bullying when brought to your attention? Does your district have a plan for dealing with bullying in Cyberspace?

Lunch is included.
