EBM/ESSA Workshop

The Western Division of the IASA is pleased to announce that the March EBM/ESSA Workshop will be conducted on Monday, March 19, 2018, at the Regional Office of Education #26 in the downstairs conference room from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.


The primary focus of the workshop will be on Connecting and Communicating the Evidence Based Funding formula and the Every Student Succeeds Act.


You are invited and encouraged to bring a team from your district to the workshop. The makeup of your team and the number of people you bring is at your discretion. Please bring those staff members who will be responsible for assisting you in the development of your plan to Explain, Implement and Market EBM and ESSA in your district to your stakeholders.


At the workshop, time will be spent first on reviewing some of the basic elements of the EBM and ESSA. The majority of the workshop time will be spent by each team working on the three elements listed above: Explaining, Implementing and/or Marketing EBM and ESSA to district stakeholders. Lunch will be provided.
