Implementing the Math Standards - Online Course

Over the course of three 1 hour-sessions participants will investigate and reflect on their classroom implementation of the Mathematics Illinois Learning Standards. Topics include: Classroom Culture, the Key Shifts, Standards for Mathematical Practice, Formative Assessment and Re-Engagement. During the sessions participants will watch and discuss video, read handouts, investigate online resources and review brief PowerPoint presentations. A Classroom Implementation Project is a component of Session 2. This event will be facilitated online using Blendspace. Participants will receive an email each week with a link to the next module.
