This training teaches:
- Multiple strategies to help students/adults who are experiencing trauma reactions in the present moment
- Multiple strategies to support students/adults who come to us with a history of trauma
- Understanding the importance of relationships and connections in healing trauma
- The role of the brain, neurology, and our bodies in responding to and recovering from trauma
- How our own trauma & past experiences influence our work and how we can change those realities to help ourselves and others move forward

Note:
- This training will be hybrid, meaning you may choose to register and attend in-person or virtually. Please ensure you're registering through the correct registration link.
- Cheryl Fuller's book, Peace by Piece, will be provided to the first 50 registrants attending IN PERSON.
- Lunch is provided.
- We will be offering CEUs for LCSW, LCPC, and RNs, as well as educator PD hours.

About Cheryl Fuller:

Cheryl was the keynote speaker at this year's McKinney-Vento Homelessness Liaison Conference in Normal, IL.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Maine in Child Development and Family Relations, and she has a Master's degree in Counseling and a second Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida. She holds certifications in Elementary teaching, school counseling K – 12 and administration K – 12. Her personal interests have led her to additional education and certifications in Trauma-Informed Practices and Social/Emotional Learning, Family Trauma Professional, Individual Trauma Professional, Circle of Security Parenting Skills, Prepare and Enrich Pre-marriage and Marital Support Trainer and True Colors Certified Personality Assessment Trainer.

She has worked in the field of education for 36 years as a teacher, counselor and school principal. In her consulting work, she has had the opportunity to present material to over 80,000 educators in groups as small as 6 and as large as 4800. She uses her counseling certifications to work with couples, families, and individuals to enhance our relationships with ourselves and others.
