Reconnect and Rediscover the Road to Resilience: How the COVID-19 Pandemic has affected us and transformed trauma-informed practices

This training will focus on how educators can reconnect and build relationships with students that will promote resilience for all. Information will be shared on how retention and recall is affected by the chronic stress everyone has been experiencing during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will gain a greater understanding of our stress response during a crisis and how ongoing stress hinders one's ability to process information and how it affects our communication.
