This full-day workshop will fill teacher's toolboxes with strategies to engage students at the highest levels of thinking. Teachers will leave excited and refreshed, brimming with the strategies they need to transform their classrooms into places where students become inventors, scientists, artists, researchers, writers, and world-changers. Teachers will walk away knowing how to create a classroom that encourages questioning, creative thinking, and a deep love for learning. We will take a deep dive into strategies teachers can use to engage students through a balance of technology AND real-world experiences. Teachers will learn WHY students are so disengaged and what they can do to improve their student's focus and excite them about learning. This workshop is appropriate for any K-12 teacher. Participants will be treated to a continental breakfast, served with juice and coffee, as well as a one hour lunch break on their own. Teachers will be given the opportunity to have fun, participate, reflect, discuss, learn, and build relationships with other educators. This is the perfect summer workshop to inspire teachers to get back into their classrooms with a renewed passion for education.
