Bounce Back (Non-Clinical) is a skill-based, group intervention that is aimed at relieving symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, and general anxiety among children exposed to trauma. It is designed to be implemented by non-clinicians. Children are provided with normalizing education about common reactions to stress and trauma and learn skills such as relaxation, how to challenge and replace upsetting thoughts, and social problem solving. The program consists of ten, 1- hour group lessons (6-8 children) usually conducted once a week in a K-5 school.

Training participants will attend 2 live virtual Zoom calls on 8/27 & 8/29. Once requirements are completed, you will have access to the Bounce Back manual and all materials to begin facilitating the group in your school. Recommended for all school counselors, school social workers, outreach workers, case managers, student advocates, TAOEP staff, or anyone else who may run student groups in a K-5 school setting. Space is limited!
