CJ Reynolds: Summer by Design

CJ Reynolds, the keynote speaker from Day 2 of the 2025 ICEARY Conference, is helping us wrap up the school year and transition ourselves and our students into summer break - a season that can hold a lot of uncertainty, stress, fear, and changes, in addition to excitement and hopefulness.

This presentation will show:
- For 10-month folks: how to use summer to recharge and reflect
- For 12-month folks: how to weave renewal into your daily routine and get intentional about summer programming

About the presenter:
CJ Reynolds has been a classroom teacher for close to 20 years. At the core of his work is the belief that education is only ever about the students and that the most effective way to reach a student's mind is through their heart. After nearly two decades as a classroom teacher in West Philadelphia, Reynolds has developed tried and true strategies and techniques that have helped him master relationship building, classroom management, and student engagement.

His goal is to guide teachers to be the educators they are called to be, leading their classrooms with respect, boundaries, and accountability. He achieves this by creating relevant and meaningful learning experiences through practical and simple shifts, making classes that students WANT to be in.

He is a national speaker, the author of Teach Your Class Off, and the creator of the YouTube channel Real Rap With Reynolds where he creates professional development content for over 80,000 educators around the world. Additionally, he is a featured figure in the documentary Revive: Solving the Problems of Teacher Retention.

Most importantly, he is a proud father and husband.
